May 17th was a day for Lever Gear history.

Thursday, May 17th we launched our second-ever Kickstarter Campaign and revealed our new line of products—the CLiP™ System. Since the end of the campaign, we’ve moved our crowdfunding to Indiegogo. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported us in the past and all the newcomers who’ve joined us on the journey. We’ve officially  submitted our patent and trademark applications, so we’ve gotten the green light to start sharing more information about the new products. Check back each week for new updates and photos!

Current Update – July 18, 2018

  • At the end of June, Mike partnered with two US-based manufacturing companies to tour their factories in China and Taiwan. You can read more about his travels on our blog.
  • The BitLight™ and BitVault™ bodies will be constructed from anodized aluminum, while the end and front-caps will be diecast zinc with a beautiful and durable electronic discharge coating.
  • The CLiP™ System will come in two color options—black and a medium, silvery grey.
  • With a manufacturing partner in place, we’re on track to meet our promised November 2018 delivery date!

June 29, 2018

  • Our Kickstarter campaign officially came to a successful end last night raising just over $45,000.
  • We launched the campaign on Indiegogo to continue crowdfunding and bring more backers to the Lever Gear Team.
  • A massive THANK YOU! goes to everyone who has backed our campaign, shared our project, and supported our company.

  • With 550 backers our project is fully funded, but we still have a long way to go to bring this product to life.
